The purpose of this life is evolving into our higher selves

Sometimes I feel embarrassed by putting myself out there, ashamed that one day in the future I will look back and ask, “What was I thinking???”

Kind of like 80’s Aqua Net hair and those puffed sleeves I loved so much.

But the purpose of this life is to evolve into our higher selves. We are not meant to have all the answers. We are not meant to ever be the final, polished, perfect product. By virtue of our very purpose for living this life, we are meant to be different tomorrow than we are today.

All the potential of an oak tree is contained within an acorn. A beautiful butterfly was once a caterpillar. Neither are ashamed of what they were before they became what they are, and neither should we. ?
